Background
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and growing up in a low-income community showed me firsthand how much of an impact technology can have on people's lives. It was one of the reasons I became interested in software in the first place.
Over the course of my career, I've worked across gaming, social media, autonomous vehicles, and government software. The industries have been pretty different, but I've noticed that I keep coming back to the same thing: I love building experiences for people. There's something really satisfying about taking a complicated system and turning it into something that feels intuitive, approachable, and even enjoyable to use.
That's also what I enjoy most about front-end and platform engineering ā not just building the thing, but thinking about the person on the other side of it and creating the foundation that helps others build great experiences too.
Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, traveling, getting into photography, and, of course, playing way too much League / TFT...
Always excited to build something new, try something different, and see where the road takes me. :)
